Posteromedial Tibial Bowing: Limb lengthening and deformity correction

📌 13-year-old girl, Posteromedial Bowing of the Tibia, limb length discrepancy (=shorter limb) of 5.5 cm for which she used significant shoe lift. Leg deformity in valgus and recurvatum.

📌 Surgical treatment was performed at OrthoChildren Center, Italy (M. Lampasi, G. Lucchesi): leg lengthening and deformity correction with external fixator.

📌 At the end of treatment: recovery of the length discrepancy, correction of deformities. The use of the shoe lift is no longer necessary.
