Where we are

The OrthoChildren Team, led by Dr. Lampasi, has its operational base and strategic headquarters in Bologna, a modern and functional facility, the OrthoChildren Center. Here, outpatient visits, ultrasounds, and treatments for hip dysplasia, corrective casting, post-operative cast removal, splinting, day surgery, and much more are available. Surgical procedures are performed at one of the various surgical facilities listed here.

Surgical Locations

Surgical procedures and post-operative and rehabilitation hospitalizations are performed at one of the various surgical facilities listed here. Access to surgery is subject to a preliminary orthopedic examination with one of the team’s doctors. The assigned surgical facility will depend on various factors, including:

  • type of hospitalization (private, through insurance, through the National Italian Health Service for Italian citizens)
  • waiting lists
  • type of hospitalization (day surgery, ordinary)
  • type of intervention (low, high complexity)
  • need for intensive post-operative rehabilitation
