The OrthoChildren Team, led by Dr. Lampasi, has its operational base and strategic headquarters in Bologna, a modern and functional facility, the OrthoChildren Center. Here, outpatient visits, ultrasounds, and treatments for hip dysplasia, corrective casting, post-operative cast removal, splinting, day surgery, and much more are available. Surgical procedures are performed at one of the various surgical facilities listed here.

Surgical Locations

Surgical procedures and post-operative and rehabilitation hospitalizations are performed at one of the various surgical facilities listed here. Access to surgery is subject to a preliminary orthopedic examination with one of the team’s doctors. The assigned surgical facility will depend on various factors, including:

type of hospitalization (private, through insurance, through the National Italian Health Service for Italian citizens)
waiting lists
type of hospitalization (day surgery, ordinary)
type of intervention (low, high complexity)
need for intensive post-operative rehabilitation
