Surgical activities

In the facility we perform:
  • Day Surgery Interventions
  • Low complexity interventions
  • Highly complex interventions (hip dislocation reconstructions, limb lengthening, etc.)

The anesthesiology team

Our team collaborates with a dedicated pediatric anesthesiology team, with extensive experience in pediatric anesthesia.

The facility also offers semi-intensive care for more complex cases.

Intensive rehabilitation

In addition to surgery, the facility offers intensive post-operative rehabilitation on an inpatient basis for those requiring it (for example, patients undergoing limb lengthening surgery, hip reconstruction, or neuro-orthopedic procedures). A dedicated rehabilitation unit is available, with expert teams of physiatrists and physiotherapists who support patients throughout their post-operative recovery.

Neuro-orthopedics

The hospital represents one of Italy’s leading centers in the field of neuro-orthopedics, with a dedicated gait analysis laboratory staffed by internationally renowned experts and physiatrists and physiotherapists with extensive experience in this field.

Childcare

Sol et Salus carries out the “Inclusive Care” project which combines hospital care and school, serving families with children hospitalized at the facility.

Private beach

In front of the hospital there is a private beach for bathing activities.

During the summer, lifeguards are on duty, as required by local regulations, along with medical personnel appropriately trained to manage medical emergencies.

Surgical procedures are scheduled following an outpatient evaluation performed by the team’s doctors. Procedures are performed in various ways:

  • under the National Health Service (via referral from the GP)
  • in private form (it is possible to request a quote from our contacts)
  • via health insurance (you can contact us to be put in touch with the facility’s Conventions office)

Hotel agreements/where to stay

Sol et Salus is located in Torre Pedrera di Rimini at Via San Salvador 204, on the seafront that connects Rimini to Bellaria.

  • By car : 2 km from the Rimini Nord exit of the A14 motorway. 6 km from the city of Rimini.
  • By train : the nearest train station is Rimini
  • By bus : from the train station, buses of line 4 (Rimini > S. Mauro Mare) leave and stop right in front of the building.
