The theoretical-practical course organized by OrthoChildren Center (M.Lampasi, G.Lucchesi), Bologna was successfully completed
It was held on Saturday 15 November 2025 in Bologna the first theoretical-practical course “DEVELOPMENTAL DYSPLASIA OF THE HIP: THE BASICS”, sponsored by the Italian Society of Pediatrics and organized by OrthoChildren doctors Dr. Manuele Lampasi and Dr. Giovanni Lucchesi.
National experts in hip dysplasia and ultrasound participated as speakers, including Salvatore Bonforte (Catania), Giuseppe Atti (Ferrara) and Ambra Galla (Ferrara) and professionals from all over Italy.
The practical sections of the Course (how to perform the Ortolani maneuver with mannequin tests, how to recognize an incorrectly performed ultrasound with tests on real cases) and the live ultrasounds performed in the classroom were particularly appreciated. The Course was for everyone an opportunity for fruitful discussion and growth.
