The anesthesiology team

Our team collaborates with a dedicated pediatric anesthesiology team, with extensive experience in pediatric anesthesia and resuscitation.

The facility also offers semi-intensive care for more complex cases.

Other activities

Intensive rehabilitation

In addition to surgery, the facility offers intensive post-operative rehabilitation on an inpatient basis for those requiring it.

A dedicated rehabilitation unit is available, with expert teams of physiatrists and physiotherapists who support patients throughout their post-operative recovery.

How to get there

The Eugenio Gruppioni Private Hospital is located in the Farneto area on the border between the municipalities of San Lazzaro di Savena and Pianoro, both in the province of Bologna, at number Via Zena 117.

The property is just 5 Km from Bologna and a few minutes from the center of San Lazzaro and is easily accessible by car or public transport.

  • By plane: from the Bologna (BLQ) airport: Taxi (journey 22 minutes)
  • By car: Starting from Bologna, we recommend heading to Ospedale Bellaria. From here, once you reach San Lazzaro, continue straight. For those coming from Imola, along provincial road no. 36 Val di Zena, after passing the hamlets “Pulce” and “Farneto”, after only 200 meters from this sign, you have already arrived. Some road signs with the words “Eugenio Gruppioni Rehabilitation Center” are also located in the area.
  • By train: from the central FS station: Taxi (journey 24 minutes)
  • By bus: Starting from Bologna, it is recommended to take line no. 19 and then get off at the San Lazzaro town hall and take line no. 126 with the arrival stop at the town “Farneto”.
